Title:
Green Youth - Active Electrochemical Management Software Development
Agreement Number:
912258
Agreement Value:
$10,000.00
Agreement Date:
Sep 3, 2018 - Mar 1, 2019
Description:
The goal of this project is to develop the beta software component for Aquova’s Active Electrochemical Management System (AEMS) for electrochemical wastewater treatment. This project will be done in conjunction with our customers to streamline development and will be demonstrated on-site. Aquova’s technology contributes directly to the reduction of CO2 emissions into the environment. Early prototypes have reduced electrical consumption by 15%, which for an average electrochemical treatment plant consuming 30K – 50K kWh per day, this means an annual reduction of CO2 emissions by 900 – 1.5 M kg per year (1 kWh = 0.554 kg CO2). By making electrochemical treatment more cost effective, Aquova contributes to the production of high quality water.
