Description:

This project deals with the design and lightweight metal-skinned composites for use in transportation and construction applications. Our product utilizes novel materials in the mix that would otherwise be deemed for landfill. The materials of use would be those that are currently not recycled for other purposes. Because of the sustainable component of the product offering, customers may also benefit from incentive programs for using the products which will make it even more attractive vis a vis competitor’s products.

The purpose of IRAP’s Youth Employment Program - Green is to assist in increasing the supply of highly qualified people, promoting the benefits of advanced studies, demonstrating federal leadership by investing in the skills required to meet the needs of the green economy and facilitating the transition of highly skilled young people to a rapidly changing labour market.
