Description:
Lygus Bug, also known as Tarnished Plant Bug (Lygus lineolaris), is a severe insect pest of pepper in Canada, and can cause up to 100% loss due to difficulty in detection. Concentrations of a formulation containing entomopathogenic fungi, pyrethrin, and potassium salts of fatty acids will be tested in the lab to screen for efficacy against all life stages of Lygus Bug, as well as compatibility with beneficial insects and predatory mites, and control of non-target insect pests.
