This project will test the viability of farming green sea urchins (Strongylocentrotus droebachiensis) at a commercial, land based salt water RAS system. Sea urchins will be collected and transported from the wild and will be fed a combination of prepared diets and kelp. Stocking densities and overall growth and survival rates will be tested.
