EBR Ltd will design & build a prototype Hybrid electric power system for aviation use. There are possible marine applications, but the focus is currently aviation use. The drive will be designed for the Horizon Aircraft X3 prototype aircraft. However it will be suitable for any aircraft with power requirements in the 300 to 500 HP range. Future versions will offer over 700 HP.
