This project will contribute to ongoing research and development for novel microfibre filtration technology and that will be applied at the point of contaminant release and of contamination, as well as microfibre detection. This project involves material optimization and stress testing, as well as contributions to further prototype developments and building out a customer management plan to prepare for market entry. This innovative technology provides a sustainable solution to plastic pollution and contamination, highlighting cleantech expertise within Canada and our ability to tackle multiple Sustainable Development Goals from a hardtech perspective.
