Description:
JASCO wants to update its autonomous acoustic data recording devices and to add real-time, in-situ monitoring systems for in-situ processing to derive desired informational products. The Firm's clients want JASCO to telemeter this information to shore via cellular, VHF, WiFi, Iridium, cabled networks, and acoustic modems. We need to warehouse, process, and visualize extremely large volumes of acoustic data and derived informational products. JASCO must add new and improved signal processing algorithms to automate detection, identification, localization, and measurement of sounds in the ocean (i.e., deriving the information of interest).
