Description:
The project involves investigation of physical and chemical properties of phytocannabinoid analogues (i.e. physio-chemically similar fatty acids and fatty alcohols) to identify most suitable test compound. The test compound will then be used to develop methods for emulsification and other delivery systems (e.g. microemulsions and nanoemulsions) that provide a uniform distribution of a substance in a water-based matrix as a representative model to be applied to infuse phytocannabinoids into aqueous beverage products.
