Description:
A sensor previously developed for automated detection of disinfection by-products in drinking water will be upgraded, modified, and validated for use in monitoring dissolved ammonium in municipal and industrial wastewater, as well as source water. This work will require extensive redesign of the reaction sequence and mechanical control scheme, as well as programming of a user interface for calibration, automation, manual control, and historical data retrieval.
