The amount milk permeate that is currently used by the Dairy Distillery only represents a fraction the milk permeate available in the industry therefore this project is going to investigate the feasibility of utilizing milk permeate to produce ethanol for a variety of other markets (biofuel, commercial alcohol). The feasibility study will include developing an engineering based cost model and a market intelligence study to determine the viability of the project at a variety of throughputs.
