Currently NC Smart Call automates the process of communicating available shifts to eligible employees while following complex union and organizational requirements. Building upon this foundation, this project will focus on automating the process of assigning available shifts to the most suitable employee and making this automated process agnostic to whichever legacy IT scheduling system a client may have in operation.
