Description:

The US government mandate that all transport trucks be equipped with an Electronic Logging Device (ELD) presents a unique opportunity to offer value added abilities above the mandated vehicle-specific dynamic data collection and storage. Fleet companies also want to monitor the cargo their trucks are carrying, and desire a single portal to that data. The ELD is the obvious portal. This project fulfills this market need by developing an automated control platform to capture and convey cargo level/volume and data/measurements. Further, precise remote control of load changes is also proposed, including all changes logged for purposes of billing, load tracking, vehicle weight compliance & chain of custody for hazardous substances.
