Title:
Optimizing Software to Hardware Compiler for Microsemi Low Power PolarFire FPGAs
Agreement Number:
925379
Agreement Value:
$50,000.00
Agreement Date:
Feb 4, 2019 - Apr 26, 2019
Description:
LegUp Computing sells software called the LegUp high-level synthesis compiler to help engineers to program specialized computer chips called Field-Programmable Gate arrays (FPGAs).
In this project, the LegUp software will be optimized to generate efficient hardware when targeting Microsemi FPGAs. There exists no other software product like LegUp in the market today that can use software to program Microsemi FPGAs. Hence this project will benefit customers who want to use Microsemi FPGAs due to their low power and cost, but cannot do so because they lack the in-house hardware expertise. Our firm will benefit from selling software licenses to such customers.
