This project looks to determine the initial feasibility study to create a profitable business by using leaf & yard waste litter, including forest residues to produce biochar. In doing so, this will divert this waste stream from landfills, reduce greenhouse gases by sequestering carbon, as well as the production of a valuable product that can be used as a soil amendment for agriculture.
