Description:

SSIMWAVE will develop a solution that provides video quality monitoring capability on the player at the viewer side of the delivery workflow. The project will leverage deep neural networks to develop an extremely accurate single-ended Quality of Experience (QoE) measure using the SSIMPLUS algorithm as ground-truth. Ultimately this will contribute to building an end-to-end video QoE measurement solution at multiple monitoring points, while providing accurate and correlated QoE scores. This will help to create a richer service assurance experience for our customers, to ensure they can quickly pinpoint issues and receive necessary feedback to enable delivery optimization.
