Additive manufacturing (AM) is becoming mainstream. However, there is a clear need to create accessible expertise on “which technology for which application for AM process/technology/material”. The SAMUEL project captures the engineer’s experience through data-mining, machine-learning, and advanced analysis to create an AM knowledge base that can assist an engineer or a business in all major AM steps.
