SafeFlight – Adaptive Autonomous Flight with Pilot Assist - This project will enable the semi-autonomous flight of UAVs in an underground environment and further their penetration into the market by removing industry apprehension in regards to manually controlling the hardware.
As this is currently a significant hurdle in the technology's adoption, this innovation is expected to increase the acceptance of this hardware by clients, as well as the ability of this hardware to function in more diverse environments.
