Description:
Juniper BBQ Scraper Ltd manufactures wooden BBQ scrapers from kiln dried juniper boards they purchase from a regional supplier. The firm's current manufacturing process requires that it first cut the wood into 4" wide strips and then cut to length, followed by shaping the product. This results in some wasted material that the firm would prefer to recapture. The objective of this project is to modify the current process to achieve a balance of material utilization and production efficiency,
