Description:
This project seeks to deploy a revolutionary high temperature, high efficiency ultrafiltration water treatment technology proven in the Alberta oilsands combined with a proprietary selective lithium recovery technology to treat complex geothermal brines and extract the lithium at the high temperatures required in the geothermal industry. A pilot unit will be built and deployed to a commercial facility in the Salton Sea and, if successful, will serve as a template for increased capacity by replicating the basic column design.
