Prosaris Solutions has developed an ultrasonic leak detector that will detect, locate and quantify small gas leaks. To use this device in a hazardous environment for hydrocarbon gas emission monitoring, design improvements are required to create an intrinsically safe compliant arrangement. These changes will include software, and redesign of both internal components and the product case.
