This project will explore the pipeline corrosion process and validation of optical technology for corrosion inspection. This will widen opportunities for corrosion management service in the pipeline sector. Through both lab simulated and real-world environmental exposure, sample’s corrosion will be studied using a range of material analysis technologies. A constant feedback and discussion channel, with industry representatives will ensure the validation of optical technology for pipeline corrosion monitoring.
