Title:
False positive mitigation with machine learning for automatic, image based Methane detection with a low-cost infrared camera
Agreement Number:
948620
Agreement Value:
$100,000.00
Agreement Date:
May 1, 2020 - Mar 31, 2021
Description:
Multisensor Canada is developing a methane imaging solution based on the automatic detection of emissions from infrared imaging data. The main objective of this project are to architect, design, develop and implement machine learning methods as part of image processing and thereby reduce the false positive detection rate of the camera. In support of this goal the project will also design and implement a data labeling solution that is capable of storage and efficient labeling of large numbers of images by human data analysts in order to enable machine learning.
