Expected Results:
- Connect the coronavirus-stalled-cohort of graduate and undergraduate university students, recent graduates, and early career professionals across Canada to like-minded thinkers with a drive to create innovative and sustainable solutions to the current COVID-19 crisis and the entire longer term Canadian economic recovery;
- Connect participants to the innovation networks locally and across Canada that will maximize the probability of new employment or entrepreneurship opportunities;
- Provide participants with exposure to multiple opportunities for subsequent follow-on activity including further upskilling programs, incubator/accelerators for entrepreneurs, and internship opportunities with Innovation and Implementation partners for those seeking an entrepreneurial path.
- Provide participants with a better understanding of the different paths research can take, the importance of continuing a career in science and a renewed enthusiasm for promoting evidence-based science policy.
