The project consists of validating the performance in real conditions and developing software applications for tracing a new blasting probe. Inexpensive, easy to use and safe for open pit mining operations, the probe allows to collect the initial displacement and acceleration of the ore following blasting. This information allows mining companies to increase their extraction efficiency by reducing dilution, minimizing ore handling and optimizing blasting activities.
