Description:
While there is historical work in algorithms and processes to “up-rez” content with respect to resolution, there are limited options available to support significant frame rate increases, along with maintaining high quality 3D convergence. Content can be produced in the MAGI format but there is a need and desire to expand the available catalog of content available for MAGI configured cinemas. The goal of this project is to research, identify and develop conversion algorithms and processes to convert existing content to MAGI format for playback.
