Financial support is provided to support Ingenium - The National Museum of Science and Technology’s Algonquin Star Knowledge Project activities. These activities are being designed to interweave traditional and western knowledge in our understanding of Astronomy.

• encourage Indigenous star knowledge mobilization and exchange for Indigenous knowledge keepers from around the world by supporting networking, relationship building and the exchange of traditional knowledge and research practices;
• create a robust, Indigenous-led framework for exploring international Indigenous star knowledge while still being rooted in local Indigenous epistemologies, worldviews, and ways of knowing;
• support Indigenous educators’ efforts to develop educational materials to increase the accessibility of Indigenous star knowledge.
