Description:

One of the major challenges with industrial internet of things technology (iiot) is connecting the physical devices in the field to the cloud. Systems need to be easy to install otherwise it creates more challenges to technology adoption. This project aims to design and develop easy to use iiot hardware. The challenge with the existing systems is the complexity involved in configuring devices and the time spent wiring and troubleshooting in the field. This project will design a system for preconfiguring units remotely and engineer plug and play systems for faster deployment. This will reduce the amount of time operators need to spend in the field and increase the scalability of the product.
