Description:

The overall objective of this project is to provide technical assistance to SMEs. The OICE serves as a gateway to over 500 faculty and staff over three campuses (SMU, MSVU and NSCAD University) that have the expertise to work in partnership with these SMEs. Each academic institution has different research strengths that improve the innovation capacity in Canada by pairing with SMEs to provide technical assistance and transferring information and technology from the labs to make businesses more productive and profitable.
