Description:
The firm will hire a recent graduate who will initiate a feasibility study for the phytoremediation of tailing materials for its mining clients. This initiative will entail the experimental testing of growth rates of various plant species ( grasses, shrubs, trees) in the firm's Labrador West greenhouse. Testing in various substrates will inform future reclamation/rehabilitation initiatives and contribute to heightened biodiversity in reclaimed industrial sites.
