Description:
SafetyPatch is a system to support aging in place, or help seniors live in their homes longer by monitoring them unobtrusively and sending data and alarms to home service providers and loved ones. It offers a full spectrum of vital signs, activity and motion, and location monitoring with various communication options. It also generates alarms using the NEWS2 protocol extended with fall detection to ensure that users are promptly treated. To be useful to Home Care Service providers, it is being certified as a medical device for international use.
