The proposed project aims to build a conversation health buddy
– Yaro (v2) – utilizing AR and chatbot technological advances as an additional interface for improving adherence to MVP and extending the reach of MVP’s live health coaches. Building off the success of Yaro v1 – an AR avatar that talked users through daily journaling reflections – Yaro v2 will become a new way to interact with MVP: he/she will guide clients through the program, reward clients on successes, and provide personalized health advice, all through natural verbal conversation with an AR (or 3D) avatar.
