Umay is looking to launch its signature product, 'Rest' in late Summer 2021. With first round of (1000) commercial units spoken for via 18 pre-ordered optometry clinics and a contract with the Government of Canada - Innovation Solutions Canada Testing Stream (ISC) (value of ~$550k). Umay's focus over the next 9 months is to expand current product market fit efforts at scale, to ensure current predictions are scalable across identified b2b channels, including speciality retail and health providers (ex. wellness spas, sleep clinics, mental health providers etc.). Commercialization efforts will also include initiating Health Canada approval and expanding business development and operational efforts to support customer success and retention.
