This project involves the hiring of a recent graduate from Ocean and Naval Architectural Engineering to develop the software for the motion response of a rig, FPSO and the other platforms to forecasted sea states; design a console for ships to hold a weather forecasting system; and make modifications to a telemetry buoy that transmits ocean currents to oil drilling platforms and tankers.
