Description:
Recion Technologies, Inc. has developed a process to extract lithium from a variety of Li-bearing waters including Li-bearing wastewaters found in Western Canada. Brines from around the world are being shipped to Recion's office in Edmonton for Li extraction and economic assessment of Recion's process. The aim of this project is to conduct Li extraction process on these brines at bench scale, produce a lithium product and prepare a preliminary economic assessment (PEA) for Recion's potential partners. Following a successful PEA, Recion is aiming to scale up its process to pilot scale in the coming months.
