Title:
Youth – Research and Development of Cleaning Product Tablets.
Agreement Number:
976568
Agreement Value:
$23,680.00
Agreement Date:
Aug 16, 2021 - Mar 31, 2022
Description:
Cleaning products are typically packaged in plastic containers and contain over 75 % water. This has contributed significantly to the problem of plastic pollution from the containers, and excessive freight and hence carbon emissions from the shipping of water. The concept behind this project is to investigate the tabletisation of ingredients for cleaning products such that they can be made without water and by the use of significantly less or even no plastic. Products made by this system would be environmentally advantageous in that the use of plastic is reduced very significantly and also allow our products to be shipped to distant markets at lower freight costs.
