Cheekbone Beauty is seeking to build upon the success of the first sustainable innovation project funded by NRC-IRAP and is proposing a new sustainable innovation project that aims to upcycle grape processing by-products (GPBs) sourced from Niagara Region’s local wineries and incorporate the bioactive phytochemicals into Cheekbone Beauty’s next generation products. The expected outcome of this project is to deliver a sustainably sourced skin foundation and lipstick products comprised of upcycled functional ingredients that provides our customers with multiple performance benefits, such as anti-pollution, anti-aging, and sun protection performance.
