Description:

As part of Kraken’s ongoing efforts to extend the companies capabilities with respect to Robotics as a Service (RaaS), Kraken has invested in several autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) platforms including the ThunderFish XL-R, ThunderFish LD-UUV, and Riptide R100. Over the next year, Kraken plans to field three commercial AUVs as assets for their RaaS programs and considerable engineering test platforms will be required to support Kraken’s continued R&D efforts. All work is expected to be completed at the Kraken's Dartmouth facility located at the Center for Ocean Ventures and Entrepreneurship (COVE).

The purpose of IRAP’s Youth Employment Program is to assist in increasing the supply of highly qualified people, promoting the benefits of advanced studies, demonstrating federal leadership by investing in the skills required to meet the needs of the knowledge economy and facilitating the transition of highly skilled young people to a rapidly changing labour market.
