Description:

With IRAP support, the firm has developed and commercialized a special knee brace, branded "Levitation 2 Tri-Compartment Unloader". This project responds to systematic feedback gathered from current customers, health care providers and clinical partners/advisors that identified product-related barriers to the full potential commercial success of the Levitation 2 Tri-Compartment Unloader knee brace within different customer segments. These barriers will be overcome through research and development effort, leading to the development of four market-ready products as project objectives, which in turn will support significant commercial growth. Related technical activities will require additional technical personnel, advance the field of knee extension assist (KEA) bracing and develop in-house technical expertise that can be applied to other innovations.
