AirMatrix’s project goal is to inform the regulatory requirement for Command and Control link characteristics for BVLOS operations at low altitude (<400 feet altitude), by small-medium UAVs as well as VTOL aircraft, specifically in urban Canadian environments. This is to take place in a manner which is collaborative with Transport Canada, NAV Canada, the RTM Action Team, Telecoms, as well as Municipalities in which AirMatrix is currently deployed.
