Title:
Design and development of immunoassays for quantitative in vitro diagnostics of hormones in human saliva
Agreement Number:
985772
Agreement Value:
$220,000.00
Agreement Date:
Oct 21, 2021 - Mar 31, 2023
Description:
This project comprises developing enzyme-linked-immunosorbent assays (ELISAs) for the quantitative determination of hormones in human saliva—an analyte matrix that, in contrast to blood, enables non-invasive collection of specimens for clinical diagnostics. Saliva tests are highly demanded worldwide but represent a technological challenge because of saliva’s low concentration of hormones and the susceptibility of specimens’ contamination with food and blood.
