Description:
The project involves the development of software which simulates the full operation cycle for the fleet of shuttle tankers that ship oil from the production facilities offshore Newfoundland to the transshipment terminal on the island and thereafter via export tanker to market. Through simulating the full cycle, the software will provide decision making support that will enable significant reductions in fuel usage and thus significant reductions in emissions.
