Pardy's Waste Management and Industrial Services Limited's project will pilot test the concept of using UV Light as an effective alternative to multistage treatment (heat, DAF, media filtration) for the purpose of oxidizing ammonia from mine effluent. The purpose of the project is to prove that the concept of using intense UV light is an effective treatment technology to achieve regulatory compliance of mine effluent discharge.
