Description:

This project involves the development of iceberg profiling software at Oceans Ltd. designed to process the data collected by the firm's new digital iceberg sonar data collection unit to produce 3D models of profiled icebergs. It is intended to replace the old software that is incompatible with the data from the new system. The iceberg profiler software will produce 3D images of the topside and underside of an iceberg individually, as well as a 3D image of the iceberg as a whole. The measurement of icebergs is required for iceberg management operations at all of the oil platforms offshore NL.
