Description:

The project goal is to increase the power efficiency, connection speed and communication range of our current near-production prototype. One aspect of the project is exploring a new power distribution and control method using subsea battery packs. Another aspect is to use multiple transducer elements at the transmit side and leverage transmit spatial diversity. This will lead to a more favourable trade-off between connection speed and reliability, which in turn, will enable the user of our system to accomplish higher transmission distances at larger throughputs.
