Description:

Design new innovative equipment that will increase the production rate and optimize energy utilization of IQF freezer tunnels, spiral freezers, and other cooling and freezing equipment utilized in the food industry. The focus of this project will be on equipment targeted for RTE ready-to-eat meal packages – trays, bags, and pouches. We will be designing innovative hygienic food process equipment required to more accurately distribute food packages across the belt width of a freezer and then discharge and singulate packages to effectively feed downstream packaging operations.
