Description:

This project aims to achieve pilot production of the electrodes for both supercapacitors (SCs) and lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) using a patent-granted technology developed by AdvEn. The technology is termed Electrode Superior Adhesive Coating (ESAC), which can fabricate electrode at much-reduced capital and production cost and eliminates toxic solvents commonly used in the conventional technologies. This proposal will enable AdvEn to fabricate self-supported, high-strength electrode films reaching a production speed of at least 10-15 m/min. The pilot process is instrumental in finalizing the design of a demo-production line and start of constructing a demo-production plant in 2024.
