Description:

Development of a pure electric forklift AGV (automated guided vehicle) for safe handling and transportation of pallets within a manufacturing space. Proposed vehicle would be designed according to a modular concept, allowing for scalability of payload within the range of 1000 to 5000lbs by fine adjustment of counterbalance stacks. The lifting range is set within the limits of a single stage mast to eliminate the need for hydraulics, keeping the vehicle as an all-electric solution. The lifting stroke to be within 50”, allowing pickup from the floor, conveyor, or a single rack. The maximum mast height and hence lift stroke can be modified to suit exact customer specifications. An all-electric automatic tilt function is also planned.
