Description:
Electrical design of switchgear protection and control allowing generators and clean energy sources to connect to the electricity grid and microgrids. The features of the switchgear will allow the microgrid to detect grid disturbances, separate from the grid and operate independently of the main electricity grid improving the reliability of the supply to the local microgrid. Electrical protection considers possible electrical supply scenarios, detection of faults and control response considering safety and reliability of the system.
