Description:
The aim of this project is to design and develop a deep eDNA sampler that is operationally rated to depths of 3000 meters or more. A deep eDNA sampler will permit the collection of DNA samples at sites including: wind-farm installations, marine-protected areas, oil and gas infrastructure, and ocean observatories for ecological monitoring and for climate change impact assessments along Canadian coasts and maritime regions.
