Description:
To build an effective computer-aided drug design pipeline to screen large libraries of bioactive compounds into smaller clusters of predicted active molecules that will present improved biological properties (bioavailability, efficacy and affinity for target proteins). It will focus on generating molecules that will be filtered on their calculated physiochemical properties to select the most drug-like analogs with structural similarity to existing cannflavins and exhibiting optimal ligand-target interactions. The predictive power of this platform accelerates the selection of promising lead compounds, provide insight into drug-receptor interactions and is beneficial in terms of cost savings, time-to-market and product portfolio expansion.
